I'M A UTAH BASED PHOTOGRAPHER SPECIALIZING IN FAMILIES, COUPLES, & BRANDING.
I’m Liesel! I am a former teacher, turned photographer who loves capturing connection. Raised on the coast of Northern California, graduated college in Oregon, and now raising a family in the beautiful state of Utah.
MY GOAL? TO SHOWCASE YOUR FAMILY CONNECTIONS THROUGH TIMELESS PHOTOS.
I first picked up a camera in December of 2020 and jumped in with both feet. I trained with Simply Shelby Photography and was soon was taking my own clients and building up a business that I’m proud of. I specialize in candid family sessions and am known for capturing timeless, small moments and detailed images in a fun and relaxed setting. I also love taking on a wedding or two each month, doing branding work, and portraits. Photography allows me to tap into my creative side and truly brings me SO. MUCH. JOY.
When I’m not behind the camera you can find me with my family. I have three young kids and we love to travel, be outdoors, and celebrate everything. Holidays and special occasions are amongst my favorite things. We also homeschool, so my MEd. degree still gets put to good use.
I am so excited to work with you to capture the connection!
With the perfect moody edit, natural and timeless style, I deliver photos that meet your needs in every situation. Whether that is your wedding day, capturing moments with your new baby, or building memories with you family. I am there for YOU.
I found Simply Shelby by Liesel on Instagram and am so glad I reached out. Our experience was unlike any other photo experience I've had. The session felt fun, not rushed, and resulted in the most genuine photos of my children and our family. The kind that I save on Pinterest - they are incredible. I will absolutely be booking future sessions.
Liesel was our photographer for everything wedding related - engagements, formals, wedding day. She was INCREDIBLE! She made me and my husband feel so comfortable and we created such a genuine friendship with her. I can't recommend her enough!!
